Kalispell Copy Center provides several methods of file transfer. This guide will help you get files to us is the best way for you.
Kalispell Copy Center accepts email attachments when FTP is not the best option. Email is ideal for quick and dirty file transmissions, however it is sometimes slow and/or unreliable. Kalispell Copy Center recommends email for file transfers of no more than 8 megabytes as some servers have difficulty with large attachments.

If your file(s) are too large to email, FTP is a good option. The most consistent and reliable method of sending files to Kalispell Copy Center is by using our free FTP service. Kalispell Copy Center's public FTP server is free of charge provided it's users agree by the Terms of Use.

To simply transfer files to Kalispell Copy Center, please upload your files to a directory entitled with your company's name. To alert us of files sent and to communicate instructions please Contact Us.
To upload files using a Windows PC follow these directions:
Kalispell Copy Center recommends the use of FileZilla to access our FTP site. If you do not have FileZilla installed, you can download it by Clicking Here. Once you have it installed, open it up.
You will be presented with a window like this:

Fill in the server information and click Quick Connect:

Create or access a folder with your company's name:
Right Click in the Remote Site pane (the one with FTP files on it) and click Create Directory. Type your company's name and click OK. Navigate to the newly created folder.

Copy files to FTP server:
Locate the files you wish to upload on the Local Site pane (this one has your local files on it) and drag them to the remote site pane.

To upload files on a Mac OS X Computer follow these directions:
Kalispell Copy Center recommends the use of Cyberduck FTP Client to access our FTP site. If you do not have Cyberduck installed you can download it by clicking here. Once you have Cyberduck installed, follow these instructions:
Click Open Connection and fill in server information:
Once information is filled in click Connect.

Create or access a folder with your company's name:
Click on the "cog" (actions menu) and choose New Folder.

Type your company name and click Create:

Drag & Drop files from your computer to the FTP server:
Locate your company's folder and drag files from your computer to the Cyberduck window.

To upload files on a Linux computer follow these directions:
Kalispell Copy Center recommends the use of gFTP to access our FTP site. If you do not have gFTP installed, please follow your Linux Vendor's instructions for installing software. Once you have gFTP installed, follow these directions:
You will be presented with a window that looks like this:

Fill in server information and hit Enter on your keyboard:

Create or access a folder with your company's name:
Choose Remote-->Make Directory from the Remote menu. Type in your company name and click Add. The folder will be created. Navigate to the newly created folder.

Copy files to FTP server:
Locate the files on your local computer in the left pane. Choose which ones need uploaded and click the right-pointing arrow.
